That’s the name of the new Tetris game planned for DS, should be a little different than the other Tetris since it’s going to use most of the DS’s features.

I hope we see it at E3; another puzzle game to my collection.

JeuxPo has yet another unconfirmed bit of news. They are reporting that the new Zelda game for GameCube will be called The Legend Of Zelda : Twilight Princess.

It could be a translation of the japanese title? We will see at E3 I guess.

The French site JeuxPo has some news on a new golf game made by Nintendo. It will not use the Mario franchise, so it must be a more serious game. Anyone remember the recent golf sim Nintendo released in Japan?

According to a French site Mario and Luigi 2 is in the works… for the Nintendo DS.
Here is a translation

After a quick success on Game boy Advance in 2003, Alpha Dream gets back to work, this time on Nintendo DS with Mario & Luigi 2. The title will stay in the lines of the GBA version, but will make use of the double screen and the touch screen.

It’s just a rumor for now, but the Paper Mario/Mario and Luigi franchise is an obvious choice for the DS. Here’s hoping for some innovative good use of ‘tactile capacity.’

Atlus released the first official pics for the DS racer due out this winter. Looks like we will be having some 4 player single cart snowboarding fun! The N64 version was a blast, in my opinion, and this one looks even better. Can’t wait to try it out

Could this be the Revolution? Could someone have leaked Nintendo’s E3 conference video? Or is this just someones well produced fantasy of what they want to see? 3 days left to speculate!

UPDATE: The man who made this fan video has spoken. He revealed that the video took about a week to make and was simply to show that he could see a lot of innovation in this coming generation of harware. He also says that he did this because he wanted to show that the future of gaming doesnt neccisarily rely on graphical power. Be believes that Nintendo will be the company to really lead the way in innovative technology and he cant wait until E3.

Edge has made thier article about the Making Of Advance Wars available online. Its a good read and even a hint about what to expect from Advance Wars DS.

And so, with its appealing art, engaging story and entertaining interaction, Advance Wars became the approachable face of strategy. Was the team worried they might alienate the sometimes rather serious-minded fans of wargames? ‘We wanted as many people as possible to enjoy playing Advance Wars, but I also thought we were trying to cater to the needs of avid simulation fans, who would know all about the weapons and care about the tiny details of the costumes,’ explains Shimojo. ‘So we follow real history, we try to preserve the spirit of the weapons and the arsenals, but everything is deformed rather than duplicated.’

With many 3rd parties abondoning the Gamcube ship faster than rats, its nice to see a high profile game making its way to the system. Segas Spartan: Total Warrior is one such game.

In Spartan you take up the roles as…well, a Spartan. Im not sure how heavily the game will focus on story, but the main concept is that you have to kick some major Roman butt. And youll be kicking a lot of it.

[E3 Is| Almost Here]

Not to be forgotten during the unveiling of the Xbox 360 (ok, the design looks better than I thought), Nintendo has released a few tasty details on the Revolution.

Perrin Kaplan, speaking with the New York Times, revealed that the Revolution will be a sleek console. How sleek you ask? Try as thin as three DVD cases stacked on top of each other, sitting horizontally.

Kaplan is also stating for the first time that the console will use regular DVD media. No proprietary format this time? If this is the case I have a feeling we will see DVD movie playing abilities also.

Of course we will also see wireless controllers, Wifi and backwards compatibility with Gamecube software. I cant wait!

UPDATE: Nintendo has reconfirmed the news on its website:

Check out these brand new Pokemon XD (GC) scans. This game is looking good. As you can see in this scan, it will have turn based battles, similar to the Pokemon Stadium games for GC/N64, but you can also see there is a exploration element. I hope to see more of this at E3.
