Game site gba.n64Europe has the first pics of the kart racer Cocoto Kart for the DS. While most people will be holding out for Mario Kart, this game does have nice graphics and some fun character designs. But why oh why dont developers start putting things like lap info a time down on the bottom screen? I want my main view to be clean and clear of all of that extra crap.

UPDATE: There are now some videos of this game too. Looks pretty good. Reminds me of Diddy Kong Racing. I still grimace when I see 2D textures for trees and items, but at least the drivers are nice 3D models.

The first vid of Rayman DS has been released. The quality is pretty low, but you can still see that this game will be a pretty one. You can also see the analog stick emulation in action, although I doubt they are going to put it right in the middle.

While rearranging and cleaning my room I found an old Nintendo preview disc. It was a promotional disc I got while working at EB right around the time Metroid Prime and Starfox Adventures came out. Nothing too great on it, but I thought Id share the wallpapers that were on there. Not that these are anything super special, but hey, its a slow news day.

Word on the street is that the Play-Yan (Nintendo’s mp3 & video player for the GBA) will also be able to download and play small micro-games. While these arent huge full blown games, its still a good reason to get excited. Anything having to do with Nintendo and online gaming content is good in my book. Plus, multitasking many types of media is nice for the techno geeks.

Telltale Games has announced that they are making a game based on one of my all time favorite comics, Bone! The game will be based on the first graphic novel, Out From Boneville. Right now its only scheduled for PC and there isnt any idication of what type of game it will be. Still, very exciting news for comic dorks.

UPDATE: Even more good news about this game. I didnt know much about Telltale games so I did a little research. The staff that is working on the game is comprised of former LucasArts member. All of them worked on Grim Fandango and the cancelled Sam & Max 2.

Now you can play Tetis at home. In 3D. For real! Seems interesting. If they made it look a little more classy then, being the gaming nerd I am, I would buy it. Now it just looks too Fisher Price to be worth the money. Still cool though.
