Alpha Bounce on DSiWare. A rather nice Breakout/Arkanoid game mixed with a pretty addictive upgrade and exploration grid system. For only 5$, the game appears to be quite long and meaty.

Hot on the heels of the truly magnificent victory of the Canadiens over Washington last night, I bought Blades of Steel - haven't played a lot, but at least I could heard the classic intro voice sample. Pure nostalgia.

Heavy Rain and Halo 3 ODST.
Heavy Rain: It's not bad I guess. I really thought I'd have a little more character control to solve mysteries and such...nope. It really is all QTEs...but don't take that a negative point. It's all about the story in this one...and it's pretty cool. I already want to playthrough again and do things differently.
Halo 3: ODST: Meh. I saw this game on the cheapy rack, so I took the plunge. Let's just say, if I had paid full price for this game, I'd have reacted negatively. Sure, the campaign is much different than past Halo games, but it's way too short. I beat it in one sitting...and that's BAD considering how much I actually PLAY the games I own. I really expected way more out of this title...ouch. Extreme Halo fans only...no other way to really look at it.
