Image of the Day – Eight Beat
As both a great painter and a 4cr fan, Fell is a pretty cool guy in my book. His passion is retro gaming, and to show that, he has produced some pretty interesting pieces of art.
Fell’s depictions of Link and Mario are certainly unique. The paintings just seemed weird at first, but as I stared at them, I fell in love. Check out his Flickr and the 4cr forum thread if you’re in the mood for a distinctly non-Japanese look at the eight-bit generation.

This is rad stuff. I’ve believe I’ve seen his Mario with the fire flower painting before, but everything else is new to me. It’s all awesome and I’m super glad to hear this guy’s a 4cr fan.
