Hello Player 1
When I came across this video I expected to see a brief rant by Sir Patrick Stewart explaining why games are a detriment to the minds of our youth in one form or another, but as it turns out that is not at all his reasoning. Patrick Stewart is afraid of games because–and I think no less of him for this–he is afraid of what will happen to him if he plays them.
And I’m telling you now, Professor Xavier, that you’ve made a wise decision.
Although, why does he have a stack of videogames in the first place?

And there’s no way I can make a post about Patrick Stewart without including one of the best scenes from Extras.

He’s already turned into a half-robot before. He doesn’t want to go back!

Probably games he has done voice over work for that were sent to him by the publishers.

You’re probably right dtax, but if he doesn’t play games then why would he bother to keep those titles?
Oh man, I just remembered that he’s doing voice work for the new Castlevania.

He may not play games… but I’m pretty sure he said something about liking anime… keeping him at the top as our sovereign nerd leader.

heh, “my god!”
He’s afraid that life will imitate art! Lest we forget the classic TNG episode “The Game” where the whole crew (including Captain Picard) get addicted to a video game that makes them passive to the game creators’ plans to take over the enterprise! The game like hooked into your brain or something, or at least you head visor, and it was IN 3D.
Can you imagine though, Patrick Stewart playing as an avatar in the Star Trek MMO. Man, that would definitely be some material for “Extras.”

Even if he just hated on videogames, he’d still be alright in my books. How can anyone NOT like Patrick Stewart.

I love the way he says “Gaming”
