Chime In – Your Most Anticipated Games in 2010
Before I get into this, let me drill one thing into your head. Twenty-ten. Twenty-ten. 20-10, if you feel more comfortable with digits. We didn’t call 1990 “one thousand nine hundred ninety.” No, we called it nineteen-ninety or “hammer time.”
There, now that one annoying media trend is out of the way, let’s get into the chime-in portion of the post! This one is simple – what games are you most interested in getting your hands on this coming year?
Me, I’m all over Last Window, Mass Effect 2, Bioshock 2, Super Mario Galaxy 2 (if it makes it out), Trauma Team, Crackdown 2, Starcraft 2, and Fallout: New Vegas.

Pretty much all Nintendo games to be released in 2010, Bioshock 2, Final Fantasy XIII, Trauma Team, Dragon Quest VI and IX, Last Window, God of War III and Bayonetta, just to name a few.

Fez, Bioshock 2, Metroid: Other M, Heavy Rain, Diamond Thrust and Super Meat Boy are all games I’m really looking forward to playing.

No More Heroes Desperate Struggle, Metroid: The Other M, Super Mario Galaxy 2, Bit.Trip Runner and the other 2, Cave Story, And Yet It Moves, Super Meat Boy, Sin and Punishment 2, Monster Hunter Tri. That’s for the Wii. On the DS: Again, Miles Edgeworth, Dark Void, Shantae DSiWare, WarioWare DIY.
Hopefully, there’ll be great WiiWare and DSiWare releases!

Aside from the typical awesome Nintendo first party stuff that’s sure to come out, mine has got to be No More Heroes 2. I consider the first to be the all-time funniest game ever.

My backlog built up from 2009 is so large I don’t hardly want to think about 2010. I’ll probably grab Mass Effect 2 and the Pokemon Gold/Silver remake if I ever get around to finishing Pearl. Starcraft 2 Wings of Liberty if they actually stay on schedule.
There’s a lot of good stuff coming out, but very few that I think I’d buy anywhere near the launch date.
