Final Fight: Double Impact

Keen on continuing the classic revisits, Capcom has announced that Final Fight: Double Impact will be hitting PSN and XBLA in April. The two-shot release brings together Magic Sword and Final Fight, with selectable HD graphical filters and online play.

Being able to play online is likely going to cause me to revisit some cheesy nostalgia, given that the friends I played so many of these games with back in the day all live very far away now. While I haven’t ever played Magic Sword, I do have very fond memories of Final Fight, which took place in a city so tough that even the Mayor has to leave his office and kick some ass.

Word to the wise for other upstart gangs out there, don’t kidnap the daughter of a former wrestler who also dates a martial arts expert. Mind you, I think everybody back then was a martial arts expert.
