We’re running out of ways to frame the annual glut of games hitting the shelves. But, this week really takes first prize at the fair for overwhelming gamers. We don’t consider this a bad thing by the way, but damn, think of how many titles moved into next year and that still didn’t make it any easier.

When you can shoot zombies in two distinctly different titles, tour Venice while stabbing folks, take LittleBigPlanet on the go, make Tony Hawk and Bobby Kotick slightly richer at the same time, and recapture your youth with four friends while they call you a jerk for knocking them into a pit, well that’s a busy week.

Did we mentioned that WiiWare is offering five demos this week, or that Indiana Jones’ Greatest Adventures is an awesome choice for virtual console?

Safe to say that New Super Mario Bros. Wii is leading the pack around here though, it has Yoshis!
