Don’t fear Rebels, this isn’t the start of some horrible new feature. Buried underneath the usual mountain of press releases, there just happened to be announcements for two titles that grabbed my attention today.

The first isn’t much of a surprise, since we already knew XSEED Games was bringing the tri-Crescendo RPG Fragile to North America eventually - heck you can catch ancient video reviews for the Japanese release. The game is still scheduled to hit shelves here in early 2010, but has received a small title adjustment, so you’ll now be picking it up under the extended title of Fragile Dreams: Farewell Ruins of the Moon.

The bigger announcement I’ve been waiting for came from Atlus, letting us know that Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey will be coming to the DS here for Spring 2010. I’ve had some bad experiences with launching franchises into space before, but I can’t deny my love of sci-fi and games with SMT in the title. Atlus sent along a few screenshots, but this Japanese video I’m going to stick in after the break might be more helpful, seeing how it shows the game in motion.

My favorite bit of news about the game so far is the ability to negotiate with demons again, over 300 of them apparently, bribing or coercing them to join your party.
