Although many of us won’t be able to read most of it, the Japanese site for New Super Mario Bros. Wii definitely deserves a nod - and I hardly ever notice sites for games, seems like there’s about 20 launching every hour.
It’s both a great looking and detailed site, with more to be revealed as the release date for the game approaches. As you click around, there’s an animation at the top of the screen that simply shows a few characters marching back and forth on a small-scale level, but it is such a sweet little detail.
More importantly, if you hit this page up on the site, you can catch the introduction video for the game, which reveals what those Koopa kids have gotten up to, and sheds some light on why the mushroom kingdom is littered with penguin and helicopter suits.

I already saw the Intro, and even World 1-1 till 5-4. (i was an an Wii-Event from Nintendo).
It looks great, it feels great, it will ROCK THE HOUSE!
Cant wait till 20.11.2009 to get my hands on it at home

That intro sound on the site is prety painful.
But he DOES pronounce both the i’s in Wii - “New Super Mario Brothers - Wee-heee!!!”
Looks pretty cool, anyway.
