Hello Player 1
Nintendo is releasing their shiny new WiiMote (with Wii MotionPlus) and Nunchuk on November 16, sans any sign of a matching console. Cammy Dunaway suggests these will make great stocking stuffers this year, and really help you customize your setup – so long as you wanted black.
It’s a pretty far cry from the rainbow of colors we expected when the console launched. That happened right? I didn’t dream it?
But with so many games lining the shelves to compete for our money, and more on the way, I’m curious to hear what you fellow Rebels have to say about the subtle change.

Tempting, but I prefer games over a shade of color. Should be packed with a dark version of Wii Play…

i already have two wii remotes/nunchuks/wii plusseses, so I won’t be buying.
WILL buy a classic controller pro if it ever comes out over here.
however, if there was a pink wii remote/nunchuk combo, i would buy it day one.

I’ve had black wiimotes since like june, I love case modding and custom consoles/controllers.
I need to buy a different color casemod now

Personally, I can’t say I respect Nintendo’s recent decision to offer a black wii-mote/nunchuk and no console. My feeling is that if they don’t wish to sell the current wii (white) with the new wimote (black) packed in, then how on earth do they expect folks to be all giddy over this? The black one will definitely suit my home theatre set-up, but the wii is still glaring amongst the set-up. There’s no sense in selling the different colour separately short of distinguishing between 2 controllers for kids. And for that, all you need is a different coloured condom.

It’s not red, don’t care.

Gah, where’s the purple transparent colors? How rad were those!?

Too late. I already have my Wii and 2 sets of controllers, classic controller, balance board, and wii wheel, all in white.

Unless I actually get this a stocking stuffer, I won’t be getting this. My wii back home already has enough controllers. I do wish they’d rolled out black sooner though, white is rather lacking in black’s aura of classiness.
Actually, white is kind of lacking everything.
Especially when sitting next to the translucent tittering turquoise of my 64.

I already have 4 Wiimotes and nunchucks. I’d get a black classic controller, but it doesn’t sound like that’s happening.

If I put the black wiicondom on the white wiimote, would it fit loose?

Seriously, guys, it’s been almost four years now. The penis jokes aren’t even remotely funny anymore.

boring. late. far too limited.
woo white and black, maybe grey is next on the list.
I’m pretty bored waiting for nintendo to change the colour of the plastic in their factories. It’s obviously a long and difficult process, i expect as long as money keeps going into the coffers they’re quite happy not bothering.
Oh and penis jokes never get old

I’ve had mine for about a month now… but I still have yet to re-purchase a Wii to use them with. But, seeing as how I got Charles Martinet to autograph the remote, I don’t think I’d use them anyhow.

I’m in Australia and I bought my first Wii last weekend – a black one with matching black remote and nunchuck (they’ve been selling the black ones here since Feb). I was told by K-Mart that the white remotes are discontinued now so I picked one up with Wii Play and got a white nunchuck online.
I’ve waited 4 years to get a Wii – very happy with the black colour, it fits in perfectly next to my black monitor, black speakers and black PC. I also picked up a black charger with black battery packs (which looks a little funny in the white wiimote).
They are also selling blue and pink remotes over here – they will be my next purchases, since I have 3 kids all eager to play it.
