Calling it perfect as is would be a bit of an exaggeration I think. I did definitely have a lot of fun with my Dreamcast though, and am sad it had such a short lived run. I guess I'm even more saddened that I'll likely never get to play the final chapters of Shenmue. Rarely mentioned are the massive hardware problems the console had. While I was lucky in getting a near launch console that never had problems (in fact mine still works) a close friend went through 4 DCs (store returns) before giving up for a full refund. Some titles mentioned previously were quite good, but some that are still held in high regard were utter disappointments Shenmue being the chief among them. 2 things killed the Dreamcast: 1) Lack of 3rd party support; and 2) not having a DVD drive. Not to forget Soul Calibur, Power Stone, Crazy Taxi, Virtua Tennis, NBA2K, Chuchu Rocket, Jet Set Radio and Rez.
