4cr Video Review – Shin Megami Tensei Persona
The incentive for 4cr video reviews began a few weeks ago, when someone said, “Jamie, I like your reviews,” which is a great way to start a conversation by the way, “but,” they added, “I hate reading them.”
Experimentation is both a bumpy experience, and the only way to get better. With that in mind, I hesitantly present to you the first effort toward our earnest attempt to make reviews part of a serious content solution, rather than something you’d just as soon not read.
Maybe we’ll even get better at this.
Where it lacks shine, there is plenty of heart – at the very least, you shouldn’t catch us making any spelling mistakes.

If so, what program did you use? =]
Bye the way, I liked the video/audio. Only advice I can think of to give (Not that you asked for it), is to sound a little more happy. The monotone voice will bore people in the end if you make more videos.

I will agree, Love the content, need to work on the voice. Some parts were great, you showed great interest, while other just seemed like you were reading your lines.

Much more inviting then the text wall.
Gave me some great insight into what exactly the game is. Something you don’t see from the big-head gaming news sites… who just give you a quick 2 minute run-down and a score.

Some of us still do love to read, I would appreciate it if you could keep the wall of text and just put it below the video. Videos take scripts and you might just cut out some zinger that would have made my day. =]

I agree with Daniel above. Please give readers the option to read the text OR watch a video. I can read much faster than I can listen, so sometimes reading a review is better than watching one.

Following up on the other comments about videos and text, let’s not forget that some people can’t hear- a video review with no transcript is not accessible to the deaf. I’d love to see 4CR make a habit of posting transcripts with their videos that they create
