Look, I know that we already have one magazine cover on our front page. Heck, it’s just a few posts down from this one. I couldn’t stop myself from posting this one. This lovely piece of artwork is the subscriber cover for the newest issue of Edge. Isn’t it gorgeous?

Lost Winds was an incredible launch-ish game on the WiiWare download service. If you somehow missed out on it, go and grab it. Clocking in at four-or-so hours, it’s the very definition of “short and sweet,” but it’s so very very sweet. The gameplay and controls are perfect and it is, frankly, one of the best looking games on the Wii. I’m salivating for the chance to get my hands on the upcoming sequel.

I wonder, will this be another Wiiware title, or will it be a “full” game released on disc?

Oh, great! So there really IS a sequel coming out. Something I’ve been wondering about since WiiWare launched and I played through LostWinds. :P

My only gripe about Lost Winds is that it was waaay too short. You reach the final boss and it feels like it’s just starting up, but nope, that’s it.

But anyways, can’t wait for the sequel. I hope it’s a bit longer and offers a larger world.

I liked lostwinds concept, but in my opinion it was a bit too slow for my taste. However i’m looking forward to see the upcoming Max & the Magic Marker (www.maxandthemagicmarker.com). It has a bit that LostWinds feel to it, but as far as i’m concerned a cooler concept. They say it will be out this fall, (whatever that means).
