Earthbound for Virtual Boy…
… would be awesome if it was real. Tomato, hardcore Earthbound-fan and translator extraordinaire, created these images of a Virtual Boy Earthbound after hacking the game to make Onett look like Moonside. My initial thoughts were that it would be pretty lame. Everyone knows that spending more than 30 minutes at a time playing the Virtual Boy causes motion sickness, cancer, and death. So an RPG on the system would just be absurd.
Then I thought about how absolutely trippy the battle backgrounds would be in 3D.
Yeah, it would totally rock.

I would buy this in a heartbeat! Love the Virtual Boy… never got any kind of sickness from it.

I’d settle for a redo of the soundtrack on the Virtual Boy’s sound chip.
