Although the sequel to Excite Truck was announced only a few days ago, its 4/20 release is barely a month away. ET is still one of my favorite games on the Wii, and in ExciteBots: Trick Racing, we’ll be driving tricked-out robot cars instead of trucks, each featuring its own unique power-ups, handling and weight.
From IGN’s video, it’s clear that there are a lot more tricks you can do than what was possible in Excite Truck. This one’s already on the top of my must-own list for 2009. More details and pics in the latest online preview edition of Nintendo Power.

Looks entertaining. You can certainly tell that it’s using the Exite Truck engine.

At first, I wasn’t so excited about this game, but seeing this video got me hyped to the umph degree. I need this game almost as much as I do a DSi.

Not sure about it. I mean, I liked Excite Truck a lot but some of the new tricks here just seem gimmicky. I mean, TEN stars from a ’super red bar’?

Super leg smash!
Super bar release!
Super pie face!
Super red bar!
Sounds like a fun drinking game.

The graphics look about 15% better than Excite Truck, or is it just me?

Very skeptical, still… looks like it has been done many times, between mario kart and …whatever…
