It’s that time of year again! Time to (hopefully) kick back and get lost in some great games. And that means it’s also time for the question: What will you be playing over the holiday?
Most of the guys on staff have been talking about one game only for the last few months, Fallout 3, and I suppose that means a good number of them will still be playing it over the next week. I, on the other hand, am yet lost in the bliss that is Mother 3, this due to having precious little time to play anything over the last couple months. But it’s a nice place to be.
And for old time’s sake, the video after the break.
That never, ever, gets old.
I think it’ll be Gears 2 for me this year, haven’t had a lot of time to play much of anything lately. Looking forward to the break. Oh, and any local multiplayer time will probably have go to SF2 HD for old times sake.

Christmas time and platformers go hand in hand in my books, so ill probably get my banjo on again. I’m hoping to get fable and fallout, but i dont know if ill be starting those yet, ive got too much to worry about when it comes to portfolio and jobseeking to start a new epic. Last years orange box was a perfect xmas game however- portal was a great ’stocking filler’.

We’ll, I’ll be playing GH: WT (Guitar only, the red pad on my drum kit died 3 days ago so I’m waiting for the replacement), Samba de Amigo, de Blob, Wii Fit (can’ let all the holiday eating get the best of me), FFCC: My Life as a king, Cubello, Rotohex, Star Soldier R (#9 in Mexico!), Megaman 9 (cut a little of my time trials totals), Phoenix Wright: Trials and Tribulations, Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings and TMNT (GBA).
That will be starting december 25st and ending on sunday for a looong weekend of gaming as a gift from me to me.
And thanks to my wife for playing Samba, GH: WT, Wii Fit and de Blob with me, as well as allowing me to continue being me and enjoying my hobbies.

I just started the first Genji game. Admittedly the gameplay is outdated, but the wonderful score and beautiful graphics make it well worth the $8 I dropped for it.
I think the next few days will be full of anything I get, really. Going to finally finish Rondo of Blood, start Me & My Katamari when I get it, and see what all the hype was about a few years back with God of War 2. If I get time, I’ll also be checking out Halo. I’m finally giving this series a shot, hopefully it doesn’t disappoint.

I just rented and beat Mirror’s Edge, which was short but the gameplay was pretty fun. I had been playing Naruto: Rise of a Ninja for 360 until my brother took the 360 and I really like that one - I’m almost finished with it. I’m hoping to be playing Little Big Planet sometime tomorrow, though. ^_~ Also maybe Valkyria Chronicles, I played the demo and enjoyed it - kinda like a 3D version of Advance Wars (never played Battalion Wars). I would be totally happy if all I got was LBP though.

I’ll finally be upgrading my computer this Christmas, so I’ll be playing age of Empires 3 and Hellgate London. After that I’ll be hooking my Super Nintendo back up and kicking the shit out of Mario Allstars and Donkey Kong.

My sweet husband got me Rune Factory 2 (he had to work so we did our exchange early) as well as Persona 4, so you can guess what I’ll be doing….
I got him Fallout 3 and a the Mad Catz Rock Band Bass so you can guess what HE’LL be doing (with me chiming in on the guitar on RB2).

Ohhhh yeah. Finally have enough time to sit down with Mother 3 on 3+ hours a day runs. It’s truely an amazing game. My fingers are currently sore from the cruddy PSP I’m playing it on… makes me wish there was an actual English version so I could enjoy it on a DS or GBA.

just got GTA IV and Left 4 Dead off Steam. once those finish installing (in 8 hours and 40 minutes according to Steam) i will hit those up. im gonna wait to start GTA IV until i officially beat San Andreas.

Just got a torrent of PS3 games for Christmas, so I’ll gradually be working through those. Prince of Persia, Valkyria Chronicles, Resistance 2, and a few others. Also, much to my surprise I unwrapped a copy of the Zelda Collector’s Edition disc for GameCube, so I’ll probably be revisiting Termina once I get some time in with the PStriple.
