A trailer of the second season of Sam & Max on the Wii just got released. From looks of it, we can expect tons of action.
I still haven’t played the first one, anyone care to chime in on their experience with it?

I played both seasons all the way through on PC, and will be getting both of them for the Wii, mostly because I’m a Telltale/LucasArts/DoubleFine/AutumnMoon fanboy.
The games are great if you’re in the mood for the good old point-and-click, and this trailer is basically the old one released for the PC release of Sam & Max: Season Two.
Any Windows user on the fence about the game should probably go download ABE LINCOLN MUST DIE - one of the best (though not the best as far as I’m concerned) episodes of Season One - available from Telltale Games site for free (http://www.telltalegames.com/store/samandmax) - scroll down for the free one, and make up your mind there.

I played the first one on the Wii and really enjoyed it — Since I don’t have a gaming-capable PC, I’m relieved they’re putting the second one out!
The Sam & Max games have a relaxed pace of gameplay and a sharp sense of humor that just don’t exist in other console titles. I also really liked the episodic format, even though I got all six episodes at once — It manages to break the experience up so it never overstays its welcome.
It’s a funny, clever, story-driven experience. It’s not Gears of War though, if that’s what you’re in the market for.

I forgot about that free one on the PC.
Trying it tonight!

I’m currently playing the last episode of the first one on the Wii. I really had much fun with it, some episodes are better than the others (the 3rd and fourth ones really were my favorites).
One thing though, is that the framerate is rather choppy - the Wii can easily handle this, but it seems like a very quick port to me.
A nice game and I’m looking forward to it. I’m kinda surprised Atari is now publishing it.

The framerate rendered the Wii version useless to me while I had a perfectly good PC version available.
PC > Wii on S&M.

i have season 1 on the wii and it’s cool, but really choppy. a lot of the voicework gets chopped at the beginning because of it. still, it’s funny and fun if you’re into those sorts of things.
