Sin and Punishment 2! That’s right, Nintendo announced at their Fall press conference that Sin and Punishment is getting a brand new sequel on the Wii. Being a hardcore Treasure and arcade game fanboy, it’s safe to say that I went a little nuts when this was announced:
“Sin and Punishment 2? Wii = best system ever.”
“Oh man. I cannot believe that they are actually making Sin and Punishment 2.”
“SIN AND PUNSISHMENT 2″
“Sin and Punishment 2. This’ll last me for a good while”
But even if you are not a fan of one of the greatest action games ever, there were still plenty of reasons to get excited. On the DS side, they showed new Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles, what looks to be a new Wario Ware, and Mario and Luigi 3, among other things. But it’s the Wii that’s getting the brunt of the awesome stuff.

Besides Sin and Punishment 2, Wii owners can look forward to Another Code (Trace Memory) for Wii, Dynasty Warriors, another Tales game, Taiko Drummaster, some crazy looking space game, Endless Ocean 2 (I presume), a ton of other awesome games, and, drumroll please, Punch-Out!! Wii. Punch-Out!! Wii looks exactly like the SNES game. It’s in 3D, but they managed to keep the charm and awesome style of Super Punch-Out!!

I was just thinking about how awesome a Wii S&P sequel would be yesterday! This is SO awesome!

Another Code for the Wii is just to good to be true.
I really hope it doesn’t get canceled or something, as flawed as the original on DS was, I still love it.
S&P will rock faces off too.

Sin and Punishment 2…thank you Nintendo, for making my dreams come true.
Yeah, I hope Another Code 2 comes out too. Just as you said, I’m fond of the first, even if it isn’t perfect.

I wonder if this new Punch-Out!! takes place before or after the events of Captain Rainbow.

http://gamevideos.1up.com/video/id/21786 — this is a montage of all of them.
Honestly, the ones I think look most interesting aren’t even really being discussed and unfortunately I don’t know what the heck their names even are lol. But there’s some cool looking stuff in there.

The montage is simply amazing. The Conduit becoming a first party title and the Pikmin remakes with Wii controls has me just as excited.
MAL - 10.02.08 1:09 pm
Wait, The Conduit is FOR SURE a first party title now?
9th Sage - 10.02.08 2:18 pm
i’m in tears.

Wow… can it be… I’m actually looking forward to somethings coming out for Wii again? Not since No More Heroes have I been looking forward to games on the system… but now… S&P2, Trace Memory 2, That SPACE game… RAD!
P.S. If you enjoyed Trace Memory… why not pick up Hotel Dusk? It’s set in the same world of Trace Memory…

I am looking forward to that Tatsunoko vs Capcom game. Wii needs more fighters besides Smash.
And S and P 2

Not really excited for anything that Nintendo has announced, because I’d gladly trade any of those titles for original, core-oriented games from third parties (ie, no more shovel-ware and ports).
But of course, the fanboy inside me will eat up anything Nintendo on the dusty Wii (with the exception of the oh so scrumptious Mega Man 9). It’s either that or I’ll have to “enjoy” Wii music.

One of the few people who’s not excited about S&P 2. The first one just went out of it’s way to make me hate it.
Everythijng else looks cool..Klonoa, Tatsunoko vs Capcom, FF: Crystal Chronicles, Punch Out, Taiko Drummaster, Mario and Luigi 3, Tenchu 4, Rygar, Dead Rising, that weird space game…Not to mention games like MadWorld, Lighstaber Duels (yeah, I know…) King’s Story, Onechbara and that game being developed by the developers of Odin Sphere.
It’s a good time to be a Nintendo owner.

@OOF!
How could you hate it? Do you hate difficult arcade-y games?
