After much speculation and plenty of waiting, the final tracklist for Guitar Hero World Tour (PS3, 360, Wii, PS2) has been revealed. I’m not a fan of a lot of the choices, but there are some nice surprises there. I’m particularly excited about Ramblin’ Man and the inclusion of No Doubt, Survivor, and Modest Mouse.

I’ll buy Rock Band 2 because they have Guns N’ Roses. Chinese Democracy starts now!!
Dark Wario - 09.12.08 9:07 pm
Lol, Trapped Under Ice by Metallica is going to be a hell of a song.

Oh my god. What I’ve Done. I always sang along with that when it came on the radio (in a stupid, mocking voice, because it’s horrible song) and now I get to do that a whole bunce more.
A lot of awesome picks on here.

Rock Band 2 is like manna from heaven to Guns N’ Roses fans.
I pick up my copy tomorrow.
GH:WT looks really “last gen” to me. I know that sounds smug but the
UI looks like a Fischer-Price version of a “real” game.
This set-list isn’t too bad, it’s got some Satriani, Hendrix, Van Halen, Doors, and Zakk Wylde, but after that nothing really to justify the price of admission.
benny - 09.13.08 10:04 pm
@Benny
Well it’s a trade off. GH gets the Fisher-Price UI, RB gets the Fisher-Price instruments.
If I chose one, it would be GH:WT, just because of the new step file creation modes and all that good stuff. But I won’t get either, because 170 bucks is not worth it for a game that outstayed it’s welcome with the second showing.
rbelmont - 09.13.08 10:26 pm
Gameplay and Controls are always more important to me than Graphics. Hell, why else would I even have a wii??? lol.
Anyways, GH wins in the Controls/Gameplay category IMO.
Still can’t stand the fact that the Wii won’t let you download content…

i dont think i can love NoFX anymore because of this shit. fuck guitar hero and anyone who says any different needs to pick up a fucking instrument and learn how to goddamn play it instead of pushing like five fucking goddamn buttons in order. fuck you assholes
