Instead of showcasing a game, this week I’ve decided to talk about my favorite webcomic, Cyanide and Happiness. Also, you don’t have to worry about this replacing Fun For Free, I just haven’t played any new games since last week.

I’ve read a lot of webcomics in my day, but there are very few that I enjoy or would recommend. The only one that I have ever read on a daily basis, excluding our very own Mitch’s Left and Leaving, is the sometimes funny Cyanide and Happiness.

Yes, it’s terrible. But it’s still so funny.

The comic is written on a daily basis by various authors, all with they’re own distinct styles and the same stick figure-style characters. If you read it a lot, you’ll be able to figure out which ones you’ll like and which ones you’ll hate just by the way they look. Rob is definitely my favorite of the bunch, with his so-bad-they’re-good puns and some genuinely clever comics. Unfortunately, the other writers are not nearly as good.

One thing about Cyanide and Happiness is that it can be incredibly offensive. Sometimes it’s unfortunate, because they substitute shock value for actually being clever and funny. If you can get over this, and the fact that you won’t like all of the writers, you’ll find some truly hilarious comics.
