Last month I finished my 7-week Wii Fit experiment. Other than actually losing weight, the most surprising thing for me was that people were actually reading my daily journals. After I stopped posting them I got dozens of requests for me to continue on, and chronicle my experiences with Wii Fit.
Between the wedding, honeymoon and starting a new life with my wife, I have been amazingly busy. Now that things are finally settling down I am ready to start regular journal entries again. I am not sure how helpful these will be for anyone other than myself at this point, but if interest keeps up I will continue to post them until the release of Wii Fit. I will also answer any questions you might have in the comments section.
All of my journal entries can be found at the main experiment page so feel free to check in whenever you want. Thank you so much for all of your support.

Thanks for starting these up again, Vinnk. I look forward to reading more.

I really missed your updates. Looking forward to everyones Wii Fit hero in action again.
I’m thinking about getting me a Wii+Fit combo at some point, as I didn’t have the time to go the gym lately.

Fantastic.
Your reports are actually what made me lose my skepticism and go out and pre-order the game, so it’l be nice to hear more.

Nice.
I wasn’t interested at all in this non-game before, but this experiment helped convince me that it seems somewhat effective. I’m not actually interested now either, but I did explain it to my parents and they will probably get it when it releases.

Congrats on your wedding! Like you, I had worked myself back into shape last year for my wedding, but after the big day the regeim fell apart — though my bride quite literally breaking her back during the honeymoon (rogue wave, inexperienced ocean swimmer) had more to do with falling off the scheduel than anything.
Anyway, the Wii Fit looks like something that is right up our ally — me for strength and cardio, her for the yoga to get her back muscles working again. My question to you is — is there full multiplayer functionality if you have 2 Wii Fit boards? Or is it single-player only, or some mix of the the two (like some mini-games being available in multiplayer and other training modes single-player only)?
Thanks, and congrats again!

i sure will be following it
i am curent ly doing the same with my wiifit!!
irst toughs:
It ways a freaking 6KG moving the board around it self could be a Wiifit training by it self!
My wife is already exited to play the game O.o
my feet are to big for the board >.
