Cactus does it again with another fun and great looking Game Maker arcade shooter.

[Warning] - This game has may cause seizures.
This game is going to seem a little (well, more than a little) intense for most people who play it. It is a vertical shooter, but instead of dodging bullets and enemy attacks, it’s more about shooting everything on screen. You use Z to shoot and X either shoots your special weapon while pressing Z, or it does something that pushes objects away from you. There are also powerups to get in the form of plus signs. There are bullets, parts of enemies, and various over things flying all over the screen, so you really have to be aware of whats going on. Memorization won’t help you in this game either, since it has random two-enemy waves instead of structured levels.

The presentation is really what makes the game stand out. If you have ever played any of Cactus’ other games, then you’ll know what to expect. Intense, crazy music paired with even more intense, colorful, “organic” graphics.

Anyone that’s a fan of artistic (and fun) games or arcade shooters should give this fantastic game a shot.

*To get some Game Maker games to work on Vista, you have to right-click the game, click properties, compatibilty, and choose Windows XPSP2.

That’s pretty full on, I’ve completely forgotten everything i was supposed to do today after playing that.

OHH EMM GEE.
This thing is great! Thanks 4CR.
BTW- I’m playing this with my Xbox 360 controller! If you got a wired one, download a free program called xpadder and map the keys (arrows, z, and x) to the controller.

Also this reminds me of another indy shooter thats hella fun, WARNING FOREVER.

@ ZaxCG2
I downloaded Warning Forever and actually like that game a lot better than Ad Nauseum because Ad Nauseum seems a lot more gimmicky. How far can you get in Warning Forever? I got to stage 15.
