As some of you already know, a week from today I am getting married. So yes, as it turns out even geeky gamers can find love. Of course that doesn’t stop me from continuing to be that geeky gamer. My wedding invitation proves this. Be warned that it is more than a bit silly and lame, but it’s also, I hope, kind of cute.

The scan is not so good, but this is the actual invitation I sent out to my family, friends and co-workers. The fact that they all liked it goes to show how mainstream the Wii has become. I was really surprised than my non-gamer fiancée even let me make this for our formal invitation.

It gets worse, on the back I snuck in a reference to the Super Mario series that I don’t think anyone other than you guys would even understand.

The fact that after this she still wants to get married tells me that she really is the one.
