As the great American philosopher Mary J. Blige once said, “Check it out, check it out.” In celebration of Brawl’s USA release being nearly a week away now, 4cr’s about to start getting you prepared. You know that the first night that it’s in your grubby mitts you’re going to get to work and start taking pictures of, like, Yoshi licking up Peach’s dress or something. I understand. We all did it.
The problem with Melee is that you couldn’t get the damn things off of your memory card. If you wanted to so show someone your brilliant picture of two Luigis kissing each other, you had to lug the stupid thing around all day. Not cool. You couldn’t even get your masterpiece onto the Internet without buying a capture card or a camera or a thesaurus.
Thanks to Brawl allowing you to save your screenshots onto an SD card, it’s now possible to take those files out, mix them up a little bit and churn out a perfectly healthy jpg. Neato!
Here’s the utility right here.
It’s a bit rough right now, but, it’s a good sign!

Yes! Just what I need to start up wariofartsonpokemon.com

That’s pretty awesome. I’m glad someone figured it out.
It’s a shame Nintendo didn’t develop a site that you could upload to from the game itself to share with friends. I bet that would have been insanely popular.

What we have here is a source chain. You found this on GBAtemp, and the guys at GBAtemp found it at Smashboards. GTCoder of Smashboards is the whiz who wrote the program, he should get some credit.

Credit goes to GTCoder on the Smashboards as Mitch failed to point out.

I checked wariofartsonpokemon.com - it’s not up yet.
I hope you really make that site, Kyattsuai. I’ll even host it for you if you buy the domain name.
Nintendo should’ve implemented this right into the game, ala Pokémon Snap - that would’ve been the bee’s knees.

By the way, it comes from a fellow here:

Program link to rapidshare (and some info) are around page 18. I’ve been following this for about a week, I was hoping he’d succeed, and that he has. I wanted to be able to do this.

Haha, oh yeah…I checked wariofartsonpokemon.com to see if it really existed too.
9th Sage - 02.28.08 3:43 pm
however www.ssbbmaps.com does exist and puts images from brawl
yampeku - 02.28.08 4:59 pm
Thanks for the tip, 9th Sage!
Mitch - 02.28.08 5:21 pm
Hey, no prob…I didn’t realize he’d released anything yet until I saw it here. lol
9th Sage - 02.28.08 7:20 pm
I wonder if you can use the send to Wii friend feature at all? Like send an image to an e-mail in your address book for example? (Need to check if that’s possible with the message board/photo channel)
Miquel Fire - 02.28.08 11:14 pm
It isn’t with the message board…at least it wouldn’t let me when I tried to send Metroid Prime 3 screens to my e-mail.

Well, how about a utility for Mac OSX?
Seriously, who uses Windows these days?
Miyamoto - 02.29.08 10:35 am
The converter was moved online.

While the offline version is still located here for direct download.

I’m making http://brawlsnapshots.com with a few friends. We’re trying to get it finished in time for the U.S. launch. You’ll be able to upload snapshots as .bin and it will do the decryption for you automatically.
Fooble - 03.07.08 1:41 pm
http://brawlsnapshots.com is functional now. You can go there and upload snapshots without worrying about the .bin decryption. It is handled automatically.
Ryan - 03.10.08 12:52 pm
I’ve registered wariofartsonpokemon.com. Expect to see ridiculous things shortly.

:? yo ok i have the bin2jpg thingymabobber and i don’t know what to do. Heres what happens. i didn’t know what to do
so i sort of guessed and put the .bin files into the folder of the programs that you run. Then I ran uhhh bin2jpgall.bat and it all worked and went through the 1 step for each .bin file but then what it just exited after it didn’t tell me where it saved or anything…
