Whats with all the “Ness confirmed” about this video? We’ve known about Ness for a while now.

@John - Since you say “Yay, Ness”. Is it just me or was Ness nerfed from N64->Melee transition? I found him less powerful in melee than he was in the N64 version

Honestly, I wasn’t sure if this game could live up to the hype, but having watched the trailer, I now deem the game “Single most awesome piece of crossover epic-ness since Battletoads & Double Dragon.” Finally, a game that can conquer my love of Super Smash Bros. Melee…

That was…the single most amazing video of my life. I have absolutly no doubt in the Sub-space emissionary as of now.

The amount of awesome moments…pikachu standing over a fallen Samus, ready to kick ass, Fox flying through hordes of shots, Link and Mario dodging lasers…

I’m actually crying in awe of its awesomness…

That sonic stage looks so awesome…

I know this is bad, but I am so incredible tempted to mod my Wii, just to play this…I’d buy the game when it comes here for sure, and it would be so very nice to play a month and a half before it comes out…ARGH

If it’s not Marth, then it’s definitely some other sword-wielding Fire Emblem character running alongside Ike. I didn’t use Marth, and can’t really remember what he looks like, but that does seem like Marth to me, makes the most sense as well.

Truthfully, I’m not entirely thrilled about the return of Ness and Marth. Ness I don’t mind as a character, but I think from an asthetic stand point, I enjoyed Lucas much more. Besides, the two have almost IDENTICAL move sets. I just personally felt one or the other was enough. Not both.

As for Marth…well…I f**kin’ hate Marth. You can blame everyone in the world and their f**kin’ obsession with him on that one.

OTHERWISE the video was awesome, to be sure. So glad I have my game paid off in full. I just have to wait for it to actually get here…

The thing I like about Marth is that he is freaking fun to fight. As a computer or as a human. I never use him, I just fight against him.

It was ridiculous how many leaks there were today.
For anyone interested, brawlcentral.com has got a 14-minute video of the subspace emissary and other info with quite a few spoilers. (ahem, Ganondorf and Capt Falcon anyone?) I guess this is fitting though, seeing as how the game is going to be released in a few days.
But yeah, I totally agree with Michael: I’ve been telling people that exact phrase for a while now, and I truly believe it.

@ Volt: As far as I know man, those are genuine man. Otherwise they are REALY DAMN GOOD fakes.

@Mattfox: I dunno. I think Miis could be fun, but at the same time, I don’t know if the Mii (popular as it is) is as big of a Nintendo icon to warrant a spot (then again, I suppose the same could be said for R.O.B.) In addition, I dunno what kinda moves you would GIVE to a Mii.

@DCSimian: Sorry to dissapoint man. I don’t think it’s gonna happen. Megaman’s creator already said no one approached him, and with the game launching in Japan on Thursday, I sincerely doubt they went and squeezed him in.
