I’ve been pining for some Club Nintendo goodness for a long time now, this DS lite pouch in particular. But now something has come along that may be enough to turn my head away from the coveted pouch — the above Wii-compatible Super Famicom pad.
I love the SNES/SFAM controller somethin’ fierce, and though I tried to turn my Hori digital pad into one for Super Nintendo games on the Virtual Console, it…didn’t turn out quite the same. As such, there are few things I’d love to have more than this gem. I just wish there was a better way to track Club Nintendo stuff down outside Japan…

Just make one yourself! With a little re-wiring, you can turn your own SNES or NES controller into a wireless pad for Wii!

Man…all this great stuff, too bad it’s Japan-Only. I’d love to have a club like this in the US, I want Tingle’s Balloon Fight for my Zelda related games collection.

If it hooks up to the Wiimote port then thats way cool.
If it just hooks up to the GCN port, then its way lame, cuase thats been done before, and wireless too.
Even an NES and Genesis controller.
Personally, Im waiting for a Saturn style classic controller.
That was indeed the best digital controller ever I say.

This drives me mad, here in the Uk you can get ring tones for your points…
I have enough points to get a game but they always sell out! and never offer any more.. plus now, the points (starts) expire! so i’ll never get to use them unless i want a load of wall papers and rintones… give me a SNES pad or a DS game PLEASE!!!!

I’m fine with the classic controller for snes games. What I really want is genesis and n64 controllers since neither of them transale all that great to the classic controller.

There’s a Super Mario Galaxy CD on that page. A freaking CD. For the absolutely-freaking spectacular soundtrack. I haven’t played it yet, but I’ve heard enough of the music to experience embarrassing fits of pleasure.
