The awesomely named Gamecock has provided us with a few of updates on the upcoming Insecticide. The DS and PC adventure game will hit stores on January 8th, and we can’t wait. Insecticide’s noir-inspired world revolves around Detective Chrys Liszt and her partner Roachy Caruthers. Together, they will dive into the fly-infested underworld and solve the dirtiest crimes.
The fact that Insecticide resembles 4cr-favorite Psychonauts is enough to get me excited. The fact that the development team includes people who worked on Day of the Tentacle and Curse of Monkey Island doesn’t just get me excited, it makes me want to walk over to Crackpot Entertainment and demand a copy right this minute.

Psychonauts?

Yeah, that character is a total rip off of Raz, except for the number of legs. And what’s the deal with trying to pass off a walk cycle as an entire trailer? Its just the same animation loop over and over again… I guess the game might be good, but I just can’t tell from what I’ve seen so far. They should’ve come up with a better trailer.

I would be surprised if this game turns out any good. It’s sad, as I was really exited about it when it first was announced.

I thought my sound was glitching while watching that video
turns it out its just the horrible sound selection
what’s up with them just showing how terrible the walking animation is?
