No, last months Podcast was not just a fluke. We are back! Not only that, but it’s actually a good one. First we have the NEWS, during which Mitch digs up the dirt and exposes the truth, while Coffeeman fights a desperate battle against the English language. Then the podcast takes a small dip in quality as Vinnk (the “Rebel in Japan”) tells some sissy story about “Buying Super Princess Peach”. If you can get past that drivel you will be treated to an extra-long, always meaty, round table about the migration of exclusive games. Enjoy!
Protip: Put it on your SD-Card and listen in while playing Excite Truck.

Thing is, with Excite Truck, the song changes once I finish the race and then it starts over… Races don’t last an hour, guys.
Crimson Warrior - 11.02.07 3:57 pm
That’s cause you’re not racing hard enough.

Well, when endless ocean comes out, you can relax in the cool, blue ocean, while listening to the Podcast!

I usually play the rom hack Super Mario R while listening to the podcast. It’s basically SMB1, but with the level order, level style (day, night, castle…), and which enemy appears where an enemy is supposed to be chosen at random as you play. Nice insanity.
JDavis - 11.02.07 6:42 pm
Yay for the Warp Pipe mention.
We’re still around, y’know. >.>
Awesome once again, guys. Keep it up.
Nin10dude - 11.02.07 10:02 pm
Vinnk, you are a smoooooth criminal!

You guys were talking about WLAN play on Wii at some point in there, and I just wanted to point out that it was at one point announced for BWii, at the original LGC announcement. I don’t have it, so I don’t know for sure, but everything I’ve heard suggests it didn’t make the cut, but it definitely is technically possible to do local wireless multiplayer (Wii-to-Wii)
Anyway, that was awesome.
llamapalooza - 11.03.07 3:08 am
Hey thanks for the tip. I’ll look into that.

Super Mario R? Gotta try this…never heard of it before.

Vinnk, I love your Rebel in Japan segments, they’re very witty.
You’re an engaging writer but, unfortunately, the Podcast is let down by a lack of energy when speaking. It strikes me that the essays would be better “in print”. Any plans for providing a transcripts?
JVC - 11.03.07 3:21 pm
You guys are awesome, I look forward to listening to your podcast every time.
Everything from the intro sounds to Edgar’s accent to Mitch’s awkward comments to the outtro, listening to your podcast is just so comforting.
I think it’s cause I’ve been listening to your podcasts since they first came out way back in the day and I’ve become familiar with the whole 4cr crew, I’ve seen the podcast evolve, the new segments come and go and also people come and go (Nick).
Keep it up guys.

@9th Sage: You’ll unfortunately have a lot of trouble finding it. It’s one of DahrkDaiz’s old hacks… And unlike Mario Adventure and the other DahrkDaiz hacks that VC&G wrote articles about, it’s fairly hard to find.
Since I’m fairly certain we can’t link to roms here, the best I can do is tell you to include DahrkDaiz’s name in the search, and look for a site with a type of celestial body in its name.
