There’s no mistaking it, fellow rebels! I honestly think that I’m falling head-over-heels with a beautiful, radiant Zelda fangirl. We met at Otakon and haven’t been able to forget about each other since then. Take my advice, dear readers: don’t let nerd love pass you by!
Ah, love. Like Wind Waker’s intrepid art design, it’s just a beautiful, beautiful thing.
Continuing that trend, check this thing out – it’s way, way better than the Nintendo-themed wedding that popped up onto the World Wide Web (commonly abbreviated as the ‘WWW’) earlier this week. It’s a Wind Waker wedding cake. A Wind Waker wedding cake. Kotaku reader Ash claims that it was the only way that he and his bride were able to express their nerddom without driving their parents mad.
I wouldn’t know how to even start eating a cake like that. Couldn’t they use one of the more amorphous islands instead? Then I wouldn’t feel so bad.

Dude, if she likes Metroid too, propose. Seriously. Go all the way baby.
But only if she dresses up as Samus.

Cool cake. I love my nerd too.

@ RBELMONTooo: I concur. But… Zero Suit, or no?

Either. Both are equally hot, in different ways. Zero Suit is just hot. Regular suit is mysteriously hot. Its like a surprise bag.

That cake would take forever to eat.
I mean, first I would have to hold the fork over my head after a five second build up. Then, I would have to wait for the description of how much cake I got on my fork to disappear before finally mapping the fork with cake on it to a specific button and using it.
Talk about beautiful though.

I’d marry that cake

Whoo, nerd love! I’m in a long distance relationship with someone who plays Animal Crossing: Wild World!
I can spoil her with gifts bought with fake money and she loves it!
She paid off all her loans in two months. I haven’t and I’ve been playing for two years… Now she throws bells around like it’s candy at a parade.

Spammer! Destroy it!
As for the discussion at hand, I think I’d just stare at the cake…it’d feel like sacrilege eating the thing. I also want to know who made it and give that person a medal

My wife (Ash) is the one that came up with the idea, and we found a great baker that had fun doing it.
It was super tasty, too, and yes, sad to cut it. But we saved the chickens.
