Hello Player 1

I’ve been hoping for some Valve love on Wii for a long time now, and as such, Gabe Newell’s recent comments to Game Informer make me very happy. Here’s an excerpt:
“You can’t think of it as graphics, CPU, texture bandwith scaling; you have to think of it more fundamentally, and I think it’s more valuable [than 360/PS3]. I think it’s more interesting than just a graphics chip ““ CPU combination. It’s the machine I have at home. The fact that we don’t have anything in development on it even though it represents big opportunities as a whole, it’s an obvious hole in our strategy.”
If that’s not a confirmation of things to come, I don’t know what is. While I’d love to see some all-new material, I can’t help but admit that a good Wii port of HL2 would make me very happy. If it’s possible on Xbox, it’s possible on Wii, right? What would you like to see?
