Some nongames would flop in America. I’d actually bet that most of them would. Still, I would love to see a few of them make their way to American shores. One of those is EA’s Bartender DS. This piece of software helps would-be mixologists prepare the perfect cocktail for that relaxing evening with your friends.
This collection is so packed with alcoholic knowledge that it could even teach an Irish man a thing or two (really, even me). Each of the 850 cocktails has a complete recipe, tips for properly mixing the drink, and notes on its history and creation. You can search the database by ingredient or the glass that it should be pored in (not everything belongs in a shotglass).
Alas, it looks like this will be a Japan-only release for now. Until then, I’ll just have to stick with the Periodic Table of Mixology.

Finally, Nintendo and alcohol. and it only needs a hot blonde cheerleader, and I can go to a deserted island. I will make my own SkyTV coconut antenna so no need for it.

They should port it to the U.S. as a Simpson’s crossover: “Moe Syzlack’s Lazy Bartender DS.” And of course it would include the recipe for a Flaming Homer.

Haha. I love it and want it…moe syzlack branded or not.

Awesome. ^^ Even though I hate alcohol, this is a genius idea.

Very cool indeed. I also don’t like alchohol too much, but mixing drinks has been something that would be cool to learn how to do.

This is EA. It took time but SimCity DS and MySims are coming.

SimCity DS has been out in the US for a while at least. It’s pretty iffy, though… it’s fun because it’s SimCity, but it has a lot of problems.

yeah Simcity doesn’t work outside the pc. And don’t say supernintendo simcity was good. It was my 3rd game for that system and never liked it…

Very interesting.
I really liked the Anime. I wonder if there will be any virtual drink making or if there is only information on the drinks.
For the non otaku crowd this game is based on an anime. http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/anime.php?id=68 16 Fairly decent with nice relaxing storylines. Not an action by any means.
Almost all the drinks in those screens were in the anime.
Nevertheless, a another weird alternative title out of Japan.

Well I’ll be. I wonder why it added a space after 68…

I do believe that the script doesn’t allow for any urls to be posted longer than a certain length.
Check the link I posted above here: http://tinyurl.com/3dfhlh .
I do believe that there are plans to license the show in USA, so there may be a chance of it coming out here. Might be a very limited release though…
