Mario Paint was much like Mircosoft Paint, only infinitely cooler (at least to my then 7 year old brain). I have many a memory of being left at Incredible Universe’s “kid zone” and playing with Mario Paint. The fly game, the crazy ass mouse control, and the awesomely early 90s “digital coloring book” gameplay were pretty flippin’ awesome. Equally awesome is YouTube user TomBobBlender, who is a virtual Mozart at Mario Paint’s music composer. Most of his compositions are game music, but there are a couple of original pieces there. Being the spicy Latino that I am, I suppose I should prefer the “Merengue.” And I do. Don’t judge me.

Cool, I just discovered this fellow about a week ago myself…these videos are pretty awesome.

I will never forget the title screen. Playing with all the letters. Man, that was an awesome game, still is. I truely hope it makes it to VC, soon.

Music Merengue sounds like something out of Harvest Moon. Reminds me of the Town theme from HM64

Kudos to you for the Incredible Universe reference…I remember crying to my parents when the one in Columbus, OH went out of business…that was my reward for those long, crappy road trips.
