Rebels, we have a treat for you today. SeanOrange (from Powet.TV) and I have decided to start a new video segment about Japanese and retro gaming called “Famicom Dojo”. This first segment, directed by SeanOrange, is an introduction, a primer for the Famicom and Famicon Disk System.
The idea for this “show” came to SeanOrange and I while he was visiting me in Japan last year. Many of the Japanese goods shown in this episode were purchased at the real Famicom Dojo.
So please watch the video and leave us some feedback. We are finding our feet with this first episode and we hope to make this a regular (and hopefully enjoyable) feature.

Great video Vinnk. I think you guys achieved the ideal level of information and silliness. It was excellent and I learned a lot about Famicom I didn’t know. So keep up the good work.

This was comedy. I thought it was basic stuff at first but I learned a couple things, like with the flap on the famicom or the randomly wired cords inside the system. The SNAAAAAKE bit was awesome. Looking forward to more!

yesss. Wow, haven’t thought about “Anticipation” in a loooooong time.
Very well done and funny. Talking systems were hilarious and I loved vinnk’s little comments and insertions.
In short, give me more now.
Also, I didn’t realize you could overwrite retail famicom disks, kinda neat and very scary.

Aaaaw man…I mean, I like Wrecking Crew, but god I’d be pissed if I bought Famicom Disk System “Legend of Zelda” and got Wrecking Crew.
Great video.

both informative, funny and very well put together - great touches with the warioware inspired intro’s, talking consoles, captured game footage and one liners.

Really nice show. Fastpaced, informative, fun to watch. I could see a bright future for this show. Just don’t let us (the viewers) wait too long for the next episode. Maybe a bi-weekly or weekly update in the future to keep us coming back. I cracked up on the Snake bit… maybe you could use the mic on every episode to parody the newer generation games? Just a thought. Keep up the good work!

Exactly the sort of thing there should be more of on the internet. Keep up the good work, hopefully it won’t be long until the next instalment.
