Looks to be pretty light news this time (seeing as there are no screenshots or other game media yet), but it seems that an Austrian company was first to announce an indie Wii Ware game. The game is supposed to be an interactive puzzle shooter, going by the name of Plaettchen - Twist ‘n Paint.
The Viennese company Bplus, which celebrates its fourth birthday today on 07-07-07, is proud to announce to be, as Nintendo official developer, among the first that offer original game titles for the new Wii download service.
Unfortunately, besides the fact that it’s been beta tested by “the GameClub, which only consists of Nintendo enthusiasts,”nothing more is really known as of right now.
It’s no Bob Ross game.

Hmm…I don’t know what to think…Wii has turned out really awesome. Will this game be okay to just try…or to keep forever?

That German accent “a umlaut” is usually changed into ae, not aa. So the actual name would be “Plaettchen”
Just a German lesson for the day.

I am sure you can download it like any VC game. It sounds cool because maybe this will get the indy games rolling but this sounds like a lackluster port that never saw the light of day on the GC.

Maybe LineRider will work the same way when it comes out…
