Hello Player 1

Oh. Hell. Yes! One of my favorite animated shows is being resurrected and brought to the big screen. Samurai Jack creator Genndy Tartakovsky (also creator of other favs Dexter’s Lab and Star Wars: Clone Wars) will be writing and directing. Thank the heavens. We are in good hands.
Samurai Jack was constantly on while I was in college getting my undergrad in animation. I remember multiple occasions where I would see a scene and take it into the studio so we could all watch it in slow motion and geek out. And the way the series pushed the boundaries with it’s lighting and sound design were just absolutely marvelous. I expect the movie to continue in the same vein and just blow us all away.
In addition to the Samurai Jack announcement, it was also revealed that the new studio, Frederator Films, is working with Doug TenNapel on two movies. One of which is based on his Neverhood game and one is “The Seven Deadly Sins, a hip-hop project with Don King hired as the first voice actor”. All around awesome announcements.
