If you’ve always wondered how to get some free publicity for your homemade videogame-related wares from a smaller Nintendo blog, wonder no longer (and also please find another hobby). OneChordWonder makes wonderful lil’ videogame coasters, decorations, and magnets out of those iron-bead thingies you remember from your childhood.
And for your temple devoted to large, city destroying animals there are also pretty nice stained-glass pieces featuring Godzilla. I don’t believe these will spare you a horrific death if said animals were to step on said temple, but hey, at least he’d have to deal with a little shard of glass in his foot. And we all know how much those hurt.
You can buy all these things, and also REQUEST customized things of various sorts and such. Go buy now… or go make something crafty yourself!

Oh man, those are AWESOME.
I’d be proud to have those in my house.

If you got the time, they’re fun to do yourself. I have a cool coaster of Peter Pepper from Burgertime on my table and I recently sent a friend one of Launchpad from Ducktales on NES.
It takes a LOT longer than it seems it would, though.

Dude those are those little beads we used to play with in the early 90s. You pit them together on these plastic boards to hold the design together, then you iron it to wax paper, melting one side together, and the other stays pretty. Cheap.

Godzilla owns you all.

Ugh, is there a reason that everyone insists on retconning Link’s haircolor in old 2D sprites to… BLONDE?! I remember playing a brunette link!

I want Lufia 2!

All of these are great, but those FFIV coasters are especially amazing.

They’re called Perler Beads and you’re actually supposed to iron both sides. If one side looks all melty and gross, you’re doing it too long lol.
