So there you are – you’re spread out on your couch like a beached orca covered in cheese curls, barely clutching onto a Wiimote that’s ever so slowly slipping from your now-orange fingertips. The TV hums the sweet hymn of the Wii’s home screen while the Wii itself whirs quietly from the back of your entertainment system. Unfortunately, your slumber is rudely interrupted by the familiar ‘ping-pong!’ of your RSS reader across the room.

What’re you supposed to do? It’s, like, all the way over there!

Well, fortunately, Google once again comes to the rescue of millions of lazy gamers with Google Reader formatted for Wii. Screw walking over to your computer – now you can read every one of your RSS feeds right on your television. Google Reader for Wii includes swanky stuff like uses for the Wiimote’s buttons, readable font sizes without zooming in, and some usual AJAX sorcery. Apparently, this is Wii-only – PS3 users will have to wait.

Try it out – add Google Reader for Wii on your… Well, Wii.
