Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance was one of those games I simply could not stop playing. Absolutely ever aspect of the game addicted me and would not let go. Jobs were lost, hygiene was neglected, girls… well girls never really were around anyways
. It was clearly worth it.
It goes without saying then that I am eagerly anticipating Fire Emblem: Goddess of Dawn for Wii. The game was recently released in Japan and a couple of the staff that worked on the game spoke to Japanese Magazine Dengeki DS & Wii Style about the next entry in the series.
Most exciting being mention of downloadable content and units being considered for the series and hints of online multiplayer. I’m already scheduling my life around the future disruption that will be FE:GoD, considering this news I may want to take some life insurance out when the sequel hits.

I can’t wait for the new Fire Emblem either. Knowing that Japan has already had it for some time when we finally get it in June is driving me nuts. MUST. FIRE. EMBLEM.

:D By the way, the Wii Fire Emblem has 60+ missions. Good luck with that…

That’s the reason why I only buy my FE games (game) on a portable console. If not so, no way of living will be possible. NO WAY.

omg an online FE would end my life as I know it. I would have to spend so much time leveling up to keep up with the other nerds and then spend time battling out like 1 hour online matches. holy moly this game could might suck up too much time, nintendo please for all our sakes and making this game may put an end to the nerd gene cause everyone will either play this or WoW all day and all night.

You can sorta, unofficially, play FE online now. By the same guys that made Advance Wars by Web.

And by the way, I loved Path of Radiance. It was my first FE game and I was instantly addicted. I’ve tried playing the GBA games, but honestly I like the Cube on better. The weird narrative/control setup on the GBA ones… where you aren’t directly commanding the troops is strange to me.
