Thought I’d share a couple goofy Smash Brothers vids for your weekend viewing pleasure. Neither are new, but they’re good for a laugh nonetheless.
First up is the great hand-drawn SSBB animation pictured above, in which Flint from the Mother series royally puts the smack down on our favorite Nintendo mascots. Hilarious stuff, and an awesome little piece of animation to boot.
Next is an old commercial that I’d completely forgotten about — the original N64 Super Smash Brothers US TV spot. Featuring giant Mario, Yoshi, Pikachu and DK clobbering each other hardcore in a pristine setting, it’s probably one of the best (and funniest) US Nintendo commercials I’ve ever seen.
Man, watching this stuff makes me crave SSBB for Wii even more

Does anyone remember a similar Mario Party one, where Yoshi is paragliding hooked to the back of a car driven by Mario and Co. when he hits an overpass?
That one was great too.

Can’t stop laughing (though that may be because I just saw a slew of funny Mario ads and posted them at RPGamers forums. That American Suoer Smash Brothers Ad wasn’t as good as this though!
