Wii may own Japan at the moment, but when Final Fantasy XIII comes out on PS3, I fear the Wii will lose out completely to PS3. Final Fantasy is insanely popular in Japan.

So is Dragon Quest, and Mario, and with a new game from each series being released exclusively on the Wii, we can always hope. =P
Also, Final Fantasy is not the most popular RPG in Japan (unlike many people seem to think), it’s DQ.
So all the ‘Nintendo is doomed upon FFXIII’s release!’ stuff that I’ve been reading on numerous sites seems a little out of proportion anyway.
Nintendo is currently owning Japan. End of. =D

Very true about Nintendo owning Japan, but at the same time, I personally can understand why, since I find the DS and Wii just so much more interesting and fun than the other consoles out there. That’s not to say PS3 and 360 are bad systems, but I think people in Japan are simply looking for something more new, fresh, simple. Everytime I play my Xbox, or Playstation, I almost can’t help but think of playing the Wii and just how much more enjoyable and fun it is. That’s just the way I feel. Anyways, Peace!

Is nintendo going to start a war with Korea over some tiny volcanic islands? Nintendo should buy Korea instead.
Hehe, Starcraftland.
Scypher - 04.06.07 4:06 am
I wonder if they bicker with Starcraftland about what the Sea of Sintendo should be called.
pete - 04.06.07 4:07 am
I’m pretty sure a lot of that area is owned by MapleStory too…
Jamie - 04.06.07 4:09 am
Sony will own Japan when a little game called Final Fantasy XIII comes out.
DS is not a ‘console’ IMHO. I still reckognise the success,

Ehh..I dunno FF XIII is only one game. And it will most likely end up on the 360 aswell..
Traveller - 04.06.07 7:56 am
The Japanese don’t do 360…
Jamie - 04.06.07 8:59 am
Yup, the dozen or so gamers who are actually still playing their PS3s in Japan will DEFINITELY be getting Final Fantasy. Victory is assured!

I wonder when a mod of Europa Universalis comes out with such area names, and there generals will be Mario and Sonic.
I’ve been playing too much…
Bainick - 04.06.07 9:10 am
We all wish…
Crimson Warrior - 04.06.07 11:11 am
Like others, I didn’t get a kick out of Nintendoland, but rather Starcraftland.
Spiritsnare - 04.06.07 11:14 am
DAddy, daddy, can we visit Starcraftland after visiting the mushroom kingdom?
Liraco - 04.06.07 12:22 pm
China should be named the World of Warcraft
Mitch - 04.06.07 12:34 pm
You mean Azeroth
Edgar - 04.06.07 3:24 pm
Needs more Hyrule.
Fank - 04.06.07 3:47 pm

All Hail Lord Shigeru Miyamoto! May his joystick never wear out! And all of his frags be headshots!
Tristan - 04.08.07 9:56 pm
It should have had the “sea of mario” or the “blue ocean”!
