The Scoop on Indy 4

In ninth grade, I watched Raiders of the Lost Ark at least once a week, Last Crusade at least once a month. Never cared much for Temple of Doom, but whatever. Anyway, the point is I’m uber-excited that Indy 4 is now on the fast track, barely a year away from release. Here’s the scoop on the film thus far:

- Rumored title: Indiana Jones And The City Of Gods

- Confirmed cast: Cate Blanchett, likely female lead

- Rumored cast: Shia LaBeouf as Indy’s son (!!), Sean Connery

- Starts filming this June, 5/22/2008 release

My take: Dig the rumored title, Blanchett’s got the chops, and while the whole estranged father/son/grandfather thing sounds like something from a Hallmark TV movie, it could work if pulled off right. We’ll see. Just give me lots of awesome exploration, and I’ll be happy
