We’re getting some pretty cool games this week, Cooking Mama and The Godfather on the Wii. On the DS front we’re getting Edgar’s absolute favorite game, Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords and Theme Park DS for all the guys named Mitch out there.

I’ve been looking forward to custom robo for awhile. Looks like a ton of fun.

Drew Kora - 03.19.07 1:26 pm
Meh other than Theme Park DS, doesnt look like anyhting great.
Quaddw - 03.19.07 1:47 pm
EXCITE BIKE!!! The opening theme song to Excite Bike is probably the best midi song ever.
Dan - 03.19.07 1:54 pm
Custom Robo for me too. Checked around today, but no luck. Maybe tomorrow.
Snailking - 03.19.07 2:05 pm
Maybe I’m the only one, but I’ve wanted to try Kororinpa for a while. Reminds me of Tingle.
Tony - 03.19.07 2:07 pm
COOKING MAMA!
well, not this week because I’m broke. Soon though.
JodyAnthony - 03.19.07 2:20 pm
BLAZING ANGELS!
Ive been waiting for a flight sim for the wii! I hope it turns out!!
MIke - 03.19.07 3:11 pm
Where the heck’s my Ninja Turtles on Virtual Console? I only want it to jam out to that wicked overworld song like I did back when I was like, four years old. Splatterhouse would bring back some memories too, but I’m not adding 1,000 Wii Points when I only need 200 more; boo on you Nintendo.
Dopple Boppler - 03.19.07 3:16 pm
Beyond Oasis interests me. Apparently it’s an action rpg with music by Yuzo Koshiro, who made music for Actraiser, and more recently Castlevania Portrait of Ruin.
David - 03.19.07 3:35 pm
I feel the Excite, The ExciteBike
Neeks - 03.19.07 3:38 pm
I’m actually very interested in the Wii version of The Godfather. I just don’t think that I would pay 50 dollars for it right away.
Enoch - 03.19.07 4:07 pm
oooo baby. Excitebike is getting downloaded as soon as I get home. And Cooking Mama and TMNT (once I hear reviews) may be a future pick up once I get thru some more of Zelda. Stupid protecting wagon part be damned.
yankeeblue - 03.19.07 4:34 pm
freakin drought.
IN MY WALLET MIRITE LOL
jadenguy - 03.19.07 4:40 pm
Does this mean Cooking Mama will be in stores on the 20th or shipping on the 20th?
allthetimeineed - 03.19.07 4:46 pm
I can’t wait for the godfaher!!
Dann - 03.19.07 4:54 pm
Allthetimeineed: It should be in stores tomorrow.
Mitch - 03.19.07 4:57 pm
Shipping on the 20th. They should have it by 5pm.
Boots - 03.19.07 5:01 pm
oh. and I’m so excited about Theme Park. I preordered it on Amazon last week. Free shipping + No tax =
Boots - 03.19.07 5:02 pm
I think you forgot PoP rival swords and i’ve heard next week for wing island and kororinpa so dont cry if they’re not in stores.
Greg in PA - 03.19.07 6:57 pm
im on the fence about Godfather. looks really sweet but i just bought Red Steel and i dont know if another shooter type game is what i want. IGN gave it an 8.0
got Red Steel for $30 at BestBuy. well worth it especially after all the bad reviews. i like it!
kojo87 - 03.19.07 7:09 pm
Cooking Mama?! That came out of nowhere! O_o…
I’ll probably have to rent it since it’s a freaking cooking game.
Kororinpa looks cool too, maybe I’ll rent if I feel like it. Custom Robo looks great, and…Wow, they already released that YUgioh Game???…
yanipheonu - 03.19.07 7:41 pm
I remember playing Theme Park on my Atari Jaguar (yup I have one), great game.
As for Wing Island, don’t waste your money. Unless is has gone through a serious overhaul since it was released in Japan, this game is terrible. Which is too bad because I absolutely love Hudson.
Vinnk - 03.19.07 8:40 pm
Oh yes, I’m eagerly waiting for Beyond Oasis to become available in the US. I remember playing this one on the actual Sega Genesis back in the day, it’s good stuff.
9th Sage - 03.19.07 10:03 pm
Yeah, I’m considering getting Red Steel now that its only 30 dollars but i don’t think I could get used to the whole “screen dragging” mechanic.
Enoch - 03.20.07 12:04 am
Kororinpa, here I come!
fush - 03.20.07 10:59 am
The boxart for the PAL version of Kororinpa is a lot nicer than the US one. I just like the green on the PAL cover, the one displayed here is too hectic to my taste =S
Frexy - 03.20.07 11:21 am
Okay this new wii game, Kororinpa Marble Mania? That’s not Marble Madness at ALL, now is it? Hahaha. They even chose a word that still described “madness” that starts with “m”!! Couldn’t they have played it off and called it something like Marble Insanity or Marble Craziness?? Haha…
Well if it’s anything like Marble Madness I’d like to play it some. =p
keitaro - 03.20.07 12:18 pm
My local Best Buy had nothing.
Blee Blee Bloo Bloo - 03.20.07 1:32 pm
All the good Wii games these days seem to have come out years ago, or are short term novel games like Cooking Mama.
And that’s the way I’ve been seeing it for a while.
