I don’t know about the rest of you, but I’m really excited about Custom Robo. In honor of its release today, I figure a robot-themed image of the day is in order. Here’s a beautiful painting from illustrator Eric Joyner’s portfolio site. Many artists who specialize in sci-fi imagery strive for a very clean, technical style. Joyner, on the other hand, gives his illustrations a very warm, painterly touch. His style combined with the dreamy, nostalgic subject matter of his paintings suggest that maybe robots really do have hearts.
I used to have that Robot! It’s called ATOMIC ROBOT MAN and its an old tin toy! unfortunately I lost it when my house burned down friday…

Slightly off-topic, but can anyone remember the game where you programmed a robot w/specific move/attack decision trees then sent it off to battle w/ other robots. I think it came out on the playstation, although I can’t really remember. It would have been a while ago.

Yeah I have no idea what that game could be, amp, but i do remember something vaguely like it.
oh and I want Custom Robo DS like a monkey wants a pair of mocasins (a lot, BTW).

Oh and BTW when my house burnt down, my Wii survived! and my DS SORTA survived too. Maybe I’ll send 4cr some pictures after I get settled back into a house.
