Miyamoto’s GDC Speech
Miyamoto’s GDC speech has come and gone and frankly, nothing really came of it. He did announce a new Wii channel that will allow people to show off Miis in a sort of popularity contest, but beyond that he generally just talked about creating games that are fun and how he goes about doing that. And he gave us the skinny on the Wife-O-Meter.
The one totally awesome thing that did come from the presentation was some new footage of Super Mario Galaxy. Thanks to this and the highly anticipated Super Paper Mario, the Wii is going to bring the little plumber back to all his glory. I haven’t been this excited for Mario games since Super Mario Bros 3.
