Don’t get too excited JUST yet kiddos. Yoot Saito (Odama’s creator) showed off a version of Odama using the Wii controller instead of the microphone to control troops at a Japanese Media Arts Festival. Despite its flaws, I thought the concept of Odama was pretty compelling. More concrete mission-based pinball actually clicked for me and I think Odama would be helped immensely by easier controls. Here’s hoping that it happens eventually, but with more reworked than the controls. I think the Odama concept would be better served with a sequel rather than a Wii-make.

I’d rather have a new Seaman.

Played it for about half an hour with some friends after pub closing. Even with one person on the mic and another on the controller, we couldn’t get past the first area. Gave up and never looked at it again.

PRESS FORWARD

A sequel? Ha! dream on! With Odamas excellent sales numbers, I think a Wii-make is more likely. Oh and I wouldn’t expect graphical upgrades either.
I played this title for only a little while, it seemed fun and I’m probably gonna pick it up once the price drops. I heard it’s unforgiveably hard, though.

This game is proof that Nintendo is running out of ideas. I think right now, they should stick to their already started franchises instead of making all these shitty, forgettable, wanna-be games.
