Kururin Donuts: Sweetest Game Ever Comes to the DS

Two of the best things in life will soon merge into one. Cooking and Gaming come together on a single DS cart in the form of Kururin Donuts. This is a platform game similar to Sonic Rush, but instead of playing with the blue hedgehog you play as a rotating donut. Fun!

To congratulate you for completing a level, you will be awarded a new dessert recipe! Everyone enjoys desserts. Either you cook it or you tell your girlfriend, wife, roommate or mom to cook it for you. You’ll be too busy playing the game.

Giving recipes as a reward for beating a level in a donut-inspired platformer has got to be the most unique in-game experience… ever.

I’m not saying it’s *good*, mind you - but it’s certainly unique.

And I thought this news was going to be about the 3rd part of portable Kuru Kuru Kururin (the 2nd - Kururin Paradise - was never released outside of Japan). It’s a pity. ;_;
