In a recent interview with Perrin Kaplan, vice president of Marketing & Corporate Affairs for Nintendo of America, IGN’s Matt sits down with her (literally) to chat about Wii specifics and random tidbits surrounding the current console and portable systems.
While constantly flirting and playing with Matt’s hair doodads, Perrin gives us some insights on Nintendo’s playcards for this year’s reformulated E3 in Santa Monica, Miyamoto’s preparation for his upcoming speech at GDC ‘07, possibly what could be a truly inspiring presentation, as well as a few interesting comments about the increase of third party support for Nintendo’s current systems and their “mind-boggling” sales figures.
Matt ends the interview with a few questions and suggestions of his own about original content for the Virtual Console, VC games prices and the possibility of seeing third-party-made channels for the Wii in the future, which I’d personally be interested to see.
A good watch overall, while still remaining generic marketing talk. And no, she’s not humping Matt’s tibial limb.
