This was a pretty good week for Virtual Console releases. The excellent Kirby’s Adventure hit the site, as well as Ice Climbers and Kid Icarus. All of that is old news by now. The more interesting tidbit is the little warning that comes up when you download Kid Icarus.

The original Kid Icarus allowed players to use secret passwords; however, Virtual Console does not support these passwords.

It looks like Nintendo is willing to make slight changes to the original games after all. This is an interesting issue, why remove the password system? Is it alright to go in and remove cheat codes, but not fix the bugs in some of the titles to go out there? Let us know what you think in the comments below.
