Wow, just wow. Nikkei Business Magazine has published some, interesting Wiimote prototypes. You’ve got your GCN-style amorphous blob, your Bizarro Wiimotes, and… oh my god… it’s a huge circle with a massive star on it.

Dammit, I suppose Nintendo couldn’t put the finishing touches on the technology to make people invincible in real life. Surely, pressing that button to make yourself immune to all sickness and flash in a barrage of colors would have sold millions.
